Midnight Madness

Any chance we start the tradition this season? I know most Big East schools do it. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself and we just need to worry about getting more than 2k at games, but MM with LB would be cool. I read where Baylor did it last year and gave away shirts and food to get people out.

I disagree. Tradition starts now! We have a HOF coach and SMU fans need to demonstrate that we are all in. Embrance the East, the Mustangs, LB and the team on the floor. We will be big time; let's start showing it.

Couple it with one of those late night pajama runs at 11:45pm from the sororities past the fraternities to Moody.

Make it an event where sorority and fraternities are allowed to talk to the potential future freshman pledges and it will be full. Am I remembering wrong but isn't there some official restriction on communication between the two until rush? I think I remember one at least but I also think I remember that it didn't get followed.

Used to enjoy the midnight roundball pajama party games vs. TCU. However the walk back to the car was a little chilly.

If we do, make sure Larry gets an afternoon nap in. Midnight is awfully late.

Another of the more famous events is "Late Night in the Phog" at Kansas, which was started in 1985 by Larry Brown and is now broadcast in live streaming video via the Internet
