Any possibility of an early season game against a Big East (or future Big East) opponent? Selfishly I'm hoping LB might try to schedule something at either 'Nova or Temple.

That would be a pretty substantial travel expense for one non-conference game against a team that would probably beat the Ponies.
I am hoping that LB's ties to the NYC area might warrant an invitation to a NYC area holiday tournament.

That makes sense. Some of the BE school are very close. St Johns plays in MSG, and Seton Hall in Newark Prudential Center. a 15 minute train ride for $5. Then Rutgers 40 minutes away. One would have to suspect that when our SMU teams come up they would pretty much do a sweep of a certain area. Same for when they come down, suspect play SMU and Houston on the same trip.

I would expect a better OOC than D'oh scheduling Paul Quinnn twice in a year.
Im pretty excited about Pony hoops right now.

Doherty thought scheduling and beating these cupcakes would ultimately prolong his tenure to inflate overall wins. What he didn't count on is getting his butt kicked by many of these teams over the years. Ooops. Every team schedules cupcakes early in the season, but the difference is they beat them in preparation for conference play. LB won't let this happen.

I imagine we will have quite a few cupcakes on the schedule this year. With the roster and coaching we have, we will win them.

Wayland Baptist, McMurry, Florida Gulf Coast, SC Upstate, Texas A&M-Int, Huston-Tillotson, the list goes on...
Valuable season tickets the past few years. Only good things to come from now on. Bring on the Big Boys.

Doherty should have secured "Sprinkles" as the corporate sponsor for these games.
