Y'all have probably already seen these, but they are new to me (they are similar to the old ones, but a little more updated), just go to the link and click on slideshow...

Also, the Tennis complex looks unreal...

They've been posted but I'll never get tired of lookIng at those pics. Envisioning a renovated Moody hosting Georgetown in front a full/near full building puts a smile on my face. Good times are ahead!

That tennis center would make a nice spot for a new Swim Center. I cannot believe we haven't built a real pool for what would quickly be a world class team.

Thanks for posting. Some of those pics are definitely new and show much more detail than previous versions. I was very lukewarm on the previous renderings, but those actually look MUCH better and have me excited.

How do I get a membership to the Hall of Fame Club?

Video boards look much better too compared to previous renderings. It'd be nice if they could do a ribbon board above the "blue" seats, but not sure if there is enough room. My only other A/V note would be to make the Main entry a giant vidjeo board instead of a banner or whatever it is now. Can you imagine walking in the front of Moody and staring at a giant display like that. Talk about changing the gamedlay experience.

Hoping the bottom bowl will be reserved exclusively for Band / Students once we join BE.

We had SRO crowds when I was there, no reason we can't repeat that.

I like the "Welcome To Moody Coliseum" sign behind the hoop

Thx, DD, for the call to action for a new Natatorium/Aqua Center. Currently, the promised approach calls for the rebuilding on the same Bishop Blvd. site. Relocating is an option, but would not reduce this captial intensive investment. Sadly, no near term commitment to build is close at hand, despite millions of dollars of pledged through friends of Swimming.

Our lack of investment in our swim program has always baffled me. Until UT built their new pool, we pretty much won the SWC every year. With a new pool,
1) we would not have the top 20 program Orisini wants. We would have a Top 5 program every year.
2) Every four years, we would get to see many SMU students in the Olympics.
3) With the exception of excessive drinking, the swimmers I knew pretty much stayed out of trouble and were actual students. After graduation, they seemed to get real jobs and to put the school in a good light.

SMU Swimming and diving has always been tops. Great athletes and good students. (Plus my buds!) They deserve better.

Go Ponies!

What? Wescott field is moving? To be fair, I've always wanted improvement on the stands, the grass and to remove those ugly fences. We also need real soccer posts that are not movable, like they are in every other part of the world.

The soccer field will go where the current FB practice field is on Mockingbird and Bishop. At least last that what I heard from Tim at last years alumni game.

It seems like there are a few good spots on the side of the Tennis facility where we could put some large changeable signage...e.g., Basketball game tonight 7:00, Football vs A&M Saturday...or maybe there are some restrictions against it?

We're wondering if our (season ticket) seats will be the same at the new Moody? I wonder if anyone from the ticket office can provide any insight as to the new configuration, seats, etc. I would guess that some of the season ticket holders will upgrade to the suite level.
