Decommitted from Illinois and reached out to Jerrence Howard.
Do we have a shot?
Looks solid to me.

I think Jerrence was Jalen's recruiter at Illinois.

He's had an awful Spring, is sliding in everyone's rankings, can't beat anyone off the bounce, and can't shoot. Illinois dropped him, not the other way around.
We have offers and options far better than James, including Janks old PG at Ill St, Nic Moore. Why do we want James, who was released by the Illini, when the llini hope to replace him w Moore? He's not a better prospect than Ryan Manuel, honestly.
Beyond that, w/Josiah & Manuel on the roster, coupled w/all our '14 PG offers, why offer a PG in '13 unless its a superstar or Moore

you may be on to something there. i think we will get a hint as to how much REAL traction we are getting out there with the 4 and 5 star guys by where this ends up going. If JJ gets an offer then we are feeling some cold shoulders it might seem.
i do think he has nice D, can slash to the basket and passes well. But i think Manuel might be better shooter and has all the above also.

More than anything, I just want some traction w/bigs. We're so thin on the front line, I'm nervous. Its literally Jalen, Cannen & Blaise, which is nuts.

Can Margus play BB? That kick blocking monster would be a beast on the boards!

LOL, if only Shawne of Jalen were actual bigs. Those guys are equally suited for the wing

Speaking of bigs, do we have a snowball's chance?
