Chris DiSano â€(URI's color analyst) on twitter (@CDiSano44) says Ponies will be heading up to Rhode Island to take on URI in mid to late December.

You should not be posting information from another site. Make them sign up for free if they want to read it.

Please GOD let it be true. Just drove by URI on the way back from Newport. I figure 90 minutes door to seats.

Rhode Island in August is brutally hot and humid to boot. Even today, it got up to 85 degrees with a breeze of the ocean.
Nothing like June 26, 1980 when it is cool all the time.

June 26, 1980 was one of the hottest days in Dallas history. Eventually, it got up to 120 degrees on the back porch(shaded) of my parents house. Since it was my birthday, my dad said he would take me to play golf. Since dad was(is) cheap, we walked 18 holes in that blast oven. It was only 110 degrees when we finished our round.

Looks like Utah is on the schedule this year, and according to this article we are actually one of their better non-conference games!

The article makes it sound like, SMU and Boise St are the top cupcakes out of a schedule of cupcakes, hopefully LB and Company will have a little surprise for them!

After reading that article I think Utah is a really smart choice. Good basketball name now in the Pac Whatever and sounds like we could compete.

According to Utah's schedule, it is a home and home within the same season! (
http://utahutes.cstv.com/sports/m-baskb ... 12aab.html) Is SMU's schedule so barren they need to play Utah twice in less than three weeks?

Anybody know if SMU is trying to do what they did last year? 1 game at AAC, and 1 game at Ellis Davis.
