Love this. Note how it differs from the rhetoric we see from the powers that be in our football program.
"We have everything to offer kids," Brown said. "The best players in the country … there's a lot of great players [in Texas]. If we can just get a few of them every year, we can compete for a national championship. We have everything in place."

I thought the same exact thing, big time difference between the two.

We're a top conference in basketball, folks. Roughly equivalent, pecking order wise, to being in the Big 12 in football. Not so much for the Big East on the football side. So it's hard to have the same level of expectations for SMU football as basketball.

its better then what it was (Big East) - with no change in recruiting quality. Thats on the coaches.

A $57 million dollar renovation project? Did the price tag jump almost 20$ million? Are we doing more, now?

I'm going to have to get this calendar fixed. I'd forgotten it was February.

Think that is what it has always been. Didn't we get a $20 million donation from Miller and another $20 million from the Moody foundation. I thought we just had to find a way to make up the difference.

It's not February but most of the class is already accounted for.
