Each year, SMU manages to scheduled a school that I have never heard of before. South Carolina - Upstate and Dallas Christian come to mind. This year - we have "Malone College" on November 19th at Moody.

According to Google, there is no such school. Assuming Malone College is actually Malone University, they are from Canton, Ohio. Recently, they lost 107-67 to Akron.

Of course, Doherty managed to lose to the schools like USC-Upstate. I am confident that LB's crew won't make the same mistatke.

As for me, I am happy that this year's annual Christmas Break game will be against Furman. While not Oklahoma State, it is a real school.

A lot of schools do this type of thing. A few years ago Syracuse lost to a Div 2 or Div 3 school.

The Canton, Ohio school is the Malone we are playing. In an exhibition tonight they almost upset Cleveland State, and were leading at halftime. They are a D2 school and their roster doesnt have much size, but they appear scrappy.

Someone at SMU might want to change "College" to "University" on our schedule then.
