Keep in mind that with insufficient data early in the season, Sagarin uses last year's data as a basis for current rankings.

Don't know anything about ualr, but south Carolina isn't that good

Correct. And by mid-season when Sagarin is well-connected, RPI is more accurate and relevant anyway.

I don't use Sagarin for basketball, sort of like how I don't use RPI for football
