Cannen

We keeping talking up JJ, Nick and LB, rightfully so, but Cannen needs to be praised as well. He is starting to look like a 4-star recruit. He is much more aggressive on both ends of the court than he was last year and I was very impressed with the way he played against Utah's bigs. I'm not sure how many blocks he had but it seemed he was swatting shots all night.

I said almost the exact same thing. I said said that he is starting to look like the 4 star recruit he was out of high school.

The steal and reverse was pretty sweet. He must be getting his confidence back under Brown. Looks like a different player and is getting better with each game.

I was thinking the same thing. LB's commented the other day that Cannen had a high ball IQ, was a good passer, athletic and long but he wished he had a faster motor. He said Cannen told him he's had 14 coaches who told him the same thing

I don't think it's a matter of listening. You don't just make up your mind to move faster, to be more active and have more energy (unless there's a physiological cause for it). Leadership and assertive can grow

Anyway, Cannen looks great and seems to be getting better every game.
