Got a long way to go

Cincinnati absolutely drilled Arkansal Little Rock by 35 and it wasn't that close. As nice as it is to be 8-1, we have a long way to go.

Can't have an off night (like at UALR) or lose a player.
We have a nice team but at best can only hope to be a bubble anything this season. After being picked last in CUSA they are playing way above expectations.
Enjoy the ride this season and look forward to next season.

You can't go by one game. We play Arkansas Little Rock fresh after this 2 week break and we probably flip the score on our game. We play any other game we've played at the end of a long stretch of games in few days and we probably lose. Depth will be the key to our season. We can compete with anyone on our schedule as long as we do not incur injuries and our players can stay fresh.

And maybe by mid season, some of the bench guys come around enough for LB to play them more and thus resting some key guys. Injuries and weary legs are huge concerns at this point, as we all know.

I hate making excuses but I think it is unfair to judge this team by that game. It was a bad loss but it was played in another country and from what I heard the gym had a very strange setup/feel. There were a lot of distractions. I would be more troubled about this loss if it happened at Moody, or even Little Rock. I'm giving them a pass on this one.

It won't be another country for long.
I don't judge anything this team does on that loss. We have little to absolutely no depth, and the amount of games being played (not to mention the miles they were flying) definitely had an impact on the loss. Not to mention getting into foul trouble early. Cincy had a full 5 days off before facing ALR, and has been at home since Nov 24th.

bottom line is that no matter how this season finishes, I'm convinced this coaching staff has gotten more out of this roster than the previous staff would have.
barring injury, I expect these guys to be competitive in CUSA play and like coach said..."better get us now because we are going to be really good"
Moody Madness is coming back soon

. Gotta remember most of us thought this was going to be a throw away year...we do have a long way to go but the talent infusion next year will be phenomenol and the three transfers will know the system well which will be a huge bonus as well.

Puerto Rico is not another country, it is already part of the U.S., so it is a fail either way.

I'm surprised we played a tournament in Mexico. That country is awful and only trails the Middle East in places I will never go to again.

What about it is awful? That is a pretty offensive and generic statement. Have you visited most of Mexico? Be careful what you say! Those comments are exactly why our university suffers from a terrible outside perception.

I would go to Mexico again if I were allowed back into the country.
Whoops.

Considering the crushing poverty and the fact drug gangs are the defacto government in half the country on top if the extreme corruption in the other half your outrage is unjustified. It is top 25% in the "do not go here" rankings for the western hemisphere.
