Jones also has game-high 4 rebounds ... 3 each for Cunningham and Ryan Manuel.
What looked like a bloodbath early on is getting closer, as one of the Paladins is 3-for-5 on 3-pointers. SMU 20-14 with7:16 to go in first half.

Looked it up:
pal·a·din [pal-uh-din]
noun
1.
any one of the 12 legendary peers or knightly champions in attendance on Charlemagne.
2.
any knightly or heroic champion.
3.
any determined advocate or defender of a noble cause.

SMU going with 5 guards (or 5 who at least can play guard): Russell, Bernardi, Ofuegbu, Jones, Williams
Bernardi with another 3. Now has team-high 8 points.
27-16

The only reason Jalen Jones has 10 points is because he apparently wants to share with his teammates. He has scored in the low post, on jump shots and on a fast break (dunk). Those trying to defend him look pretty helpless.

Did not get to make it to the game today. Glad we are leading by 15 at the half.

An SMU official just estimated 2,500 — not bad, considering the holiday, football games, the weather, the opponent, etc.
He's going to get an official number.
