Glass Half Full - It's all good

While it would have been a nice win last night, the loss demonstrates why this year's team is not ready to contend for a NCAA Title.
Simply put,
1) We have five players that can be counted on to "not suck;"
2) We have ZERO size on our bench;
3) Our only good outside shooter looks lost sometimes (I really really hope he develops b/c he seems like a good kid who works hard at his game); and
4) We have 3 guys who will probably start next year sitting on our bench ineligible to play.
This year should be fun, but next year should be fantastic.

The lack of size is a huge problem and we all knew that would be an issue when it was decided to hold Blaise out of action due to his injury.
We have 3 guys who will probably start next year sitting on our bench ineligible to play.

we're fine. Nearly impossible to win consistently when you're counting on 3.5 guys for 65pts and 35 minutes per. Nick Russell & Ryan Manuel may need 3 months of spa treatment after the season to offset the minutes and abuse this year

Since Jalen, Cannen, and Shawn are the only 3 players that have to bang around in the low post and get every rebound. Those 3 will need to have spinal realignment after the season

i think we may have four starters on the bench - hard to believe our problem next year will be getting great players enough playing time to be happy.

Just realized that I read your statement wrong earlier - hence my question marks. Re-read it and it makes sense now. Chalk it up to me reading that before grabbing my morning coffee.

I think most of us would have been pleased if anyone told us before this season tipped off that we could take a 10-5 record into CUSA play. From here on out it gets tougher. Could be a real challenge to finish at or above .500 for the season. Sunday will tell us a lot. Must defend Moody if we are going to have any chance of being a .500 team in CUSA

Good attendance for the last game, 3500. Attendance continues to improve. Hopefully we will have more Sunday.

On the radio, it was a loud crowd.

The crowd is really responding. Takes us awhile to warm up when the students aren't there but it got loud in the end. Just think when we add 2-4k more people into moody. Then the glass will be full.
