Glad he showed some energy in the second half. I have a feeling LB lit into the guys at halftime. I love that Cannen is starting to show his potential. He played very well tonight.

Yes on both. Cannen is really starting to play. The steal and dunk is a semi regular occurrence.

Shouldn't the title of the thread be Shawn Williams?

If Shawn Williams was a sniper he'd have had about 30 tonight. Wide open looks time after time passed up or dribbled into trouble

Williams is a disaster against the zone because he doesn't post well, can't shoot from outside, and can't dribble by anyone.

Jones looked like himself again (finally) in the second half.

It's easier to see why he's not at Texas........

Williams has had a decent outside shot but the last 2 games he has been off.

Being a little rough on Shawn aren't y'all? He has had a bad couple of games but he's still a solid player for us. The reason I called out JJ is because he is the leader of this team and he disappeared for a game and a half.

I've only had season tickets for a little over 20 years so please explain why he is needed. I'm guessing even Matt Doherty expected him to score more than 6-8 points a game......if he scores at all!

He is needed cause we have only 6 1/2 players right now. 6-8 points are crucial when we basically have 5 guys that are scorers and with almost nothing and many times no scoring from the bench.

We could probably use a guy named Leslee Smith about now

I'd cut Shawne before Bernardi at this point. You can't get more minutes and less stats. No impact on any game ever. Ulric needs to determine if Shawne's Daddy can hurt SMU by cutting him. If its minimal, Id rather have the ship than Shawne, 100 times out of 100

Because he plays 32 minutes a game, averages 7 pts, 5 boards and can guard one of the opponent's bigs. Is he a star? No, but on a team with a rotation of 6-7 guys, he pretty damn valuable. And aside from the last couple of games he can usually knock down the 3 which keeps his defender (usually a big) from camping out in the lane.

I think that's great you've had season tix for 20 years. I just think it is odd that a man/woman in their 40s? (Guessing your age since you've had season tix for 20 years) has a handle name of PonySnob....
