It is a delight to listening to this Hall of Famer talk about playing to win and making plays, wanting to instill confidence and aggression. What he knows and brings is reinforced when you hear him speak. Plus, the value of tradition that he loves.

I noted when he said look around; there are no banners on the ceiling. When Kansas takes the floor they think they can win every time. That confidence has yet to grow at SMU. LB will bring it because he has confidence.

tough challenge to get some of these guys past the "fear of failure". Doherty beat that into their heads and this is a major philosophical change for these guys
he specifically mentioned Shawn and Ryan and it was painfully obvious watching them throw it around on the perimeter like the ball was a hot potato

It's interesting that the banner that shows our tournament appearances, doesn't list the CIT that we played 2 years ago.......

Not sure what was so upbeat about that.
I thought Brown looked and sounded frustrated, tired - (after 1/2 of season?)
And he sounded almost wistful to be a part of a Kansas-type program again.
(But that's the first time I've ever heard him speak.)

Well if it is the first time you heard him speak, how can you make judgements?
