Will SMU Ladies get an invite now that Tulsa, a .500 team, has won the Tournament? Hopefully they would want one of our top 3 finishers as well.

They don't have any "good" wins. In fact, I can't think of anyone off of the top of my head that the women beat (besides Tulsa) that will make the tournament

I would think the fact a .500 team won the conference tournament would make it even more likely the committee would not even consider giving C-USA an at-large bid.

Losing in the First game as a #1 seed was the death knoll for the women. They don't have a good enough Rep to withstand that loss...they are in the WNIT and I hope they get it together as a team and get hot, as the last month of the season for the SMU girls was a complete failure losing 4 out of the last five games and were 0-2 on the road in non conference games and 5-5 overall away from home. That doesn't bode well going into a post season stretch.

NCAA bracket is out and (no surprise) we did not make it. Conference champ Tulsa is a 16 seed.

Looking at the list of qutomatic qualifiers, I bet we will either be at Texas Southern or Sam Houston St.

I was hoping for that because I could attend either game easily. But instead, they play at Bowling Green on Thursday.

I am really surprised that the nit is sending us all the way up here. I thought that they tried to limit travel in the early rounds.

I imagine we ended up in the pile of schools who can't/wouldn't host so we got kind of screwed.
