Not living in Dallas, I only had the internet to read. Considering the Frazier commitment was arguably the 2nd greatest thing to happen to SMU Bball recently (after the Larry Brown hire), what did you think of the coverage in the local paper. The internet stuff seemed a bit light.

The Frazier commit got quite a bit of traction here IMO. The DMN had a big article about how landing Frazier was the centerpiece for Larry Brown's rebuilding efforts and that his commitment will lead to other top notch local talent to seriously consider SMU. Obviously, everything is predicated on us producing something positive on the court next year.

I'd also say that the Frazier commitment was pretty big on twitter. Most people were befuddled as to why a McDonald's All-American would want to play at SMU, but it was nearly unanimous that this was a program-changing type of player we are getting.

That's a big article?? I was surprised by the lack of coverage as well but it could be that they are waiting for him to sign, which will be the 17th.

I believe the article cited was just a blog. The actual article in the print media was a little more in-depth. Have already recycled my paper but I believe this is the article.
