Louisville (men) and either UConn or Louisville (women). Tough hoops conference next year.

Yeah, that will get us some credibility right off the bat.

Think of the credibility SMU will get when we beat Louisville.

I sure hoop Rhonda is loading up on talent to compete with them because if not the women could be in trouble.

It'd be really cool if the men AND women opened Moody against the defending champions.

I remember we played a series of games against Louisville in the late 60's and early 70's and we had a brief series with them in the Bliss years. We haven't fared too well historically, but I remember beating them in a packed Moody in the mid 80's - that was a national TV game between 2 ranked teams. Sure will be fun if we can get back to that level

1. New American Athletic Conference commissioner Mike Aresco relished the moment Monday night as one of his teams -- for this season and, yes, for next -- won a national title. He was guaranteed of another heading into the women's final Tuesday night, which featured American-bound current Big East teams Louisville and Connecticut. It is true that Louisville is heading to the ACC in the fall of 2014. But that won't keep the league from celebrating the titles this fall. The old Big East guard is trying to brand the new league as the American rather than as the AAC. Aresco doesn't want the acronym used if possible.

Not if one of the two got beaten badly. I say we need a conference win (like starting with UCF) to start out with then bring on the titans. The both teams will see Louisville and UConn soon enough during conference play.

Not possible.
