Is this the beginning of something really big? Seems to me when we signed Sasser, we said the same things. Help, what should I tell my UT friends?

I think it's not just One guy to get excited about, like sasser was. It's the transfers who are now eligible and the other recruits. We have quality deep into the bench. It is like adding a whole new team to what we had. That is what you get pumped for.

Plus Brown won't be dealing as much with getting guys transitioned into his system. The bulk of the players have a year with LB under their belt. I cannot wait until next season.

frazier is a nice add, but even without him this program was going where it has never been before. We are adding an entire team of top notch recruits, to three really nice transfers, on top of 3-4 pretty good players on last years team. That is different than we have ever seen around here.

oh....and the coaching aint bad either.

oh..did i mention the nations best practice facility/coliseum combo?

Tell them we are adding 3 quality transfers, one 5 star recruit, one 4 star recruit, one national top 150 player, and one Illinois Mr. Basketball finalist to out roster next year. And we still might add another player.

As great as Sas was, he was rated nowhere near as high as Frazier coming out of HS.

I would too. All I know is the addition of another player is still a possibility.

Sasser was the man. Moody was rocking when he was around. Some of the best games I've ever been to at SMU

I'd look at 5th years or transfers as the next possible ship. Also think we're close w/a few '14 bigs

I don't really like the idea of a 5th year. Maybe I am overly optimistic but I feel like we already have a pretty deep, talented team for next season. I would rather play with the team we have than run another player for a 5th year that will play 1 season, when he may not be much better than who we otherwise already have and would have multiple years in our program.

I could see bringing in an elite transfer that has a couple of years to play after redshirting during his transfer year. The focus on '14 is what I would like to see most at this point. Excited to hear we are after bigs. That will be important for us in '14 with Yanick, Cannen, and Jalen all being Seniors when the '14 class would be freshmen.
