Bud Walton...maybe not

Seems there has been a water leak in Bud Walton Arena at Arkansas. Floor is badly damaged. Rumors run from 2 weeks to fix to not being able to use the arena this year at all. Could be we play them somewhere else. Barnhill Arena, the former BB court is now used for Volleyball and Gymnastics and it is not known if it can be changed back and still be available for use by the other sports. Maybe they will come to Garland and we can call it a neutral court.

That would be a good solution if there is an issue. They play one OOC game here each year and I do not know that it has been set yet although it probably has.
Went and checked. UA plays South Alabama on December 21 in North Little Rock.
I bet they could play all of their home games here and put over 10,000 a game if not over 15,000.

Play it in N. Little Rock this year, and AAC (arena) next year.

I'd make it to the game for sure if it was in old Barnhill. Man, I miss SWC basketball.

I am all cried out form the best little whore house being torn down.
Which totally unrelated....I was speaking with an underwriter today about a mortgage loan on a 4plex. I said there could be an appraisal problem because one of the tenants is a hoarder. The underwriter said please refer to her as a prostitute and find out if she files taxes. I had to say no, no, no, that was hoarDER.

Too bad. Before the SMU football game there two years ago, I went inside GRW to use the restroom. Since it was the bginning of the semester, the place was being used as a bookstore. However you could still see all the old seats, scoreboards, etc. I guess its space on campus is perceived to be more valuable than its history and current utility.

Bud Walton will be repaired by the middle of next week so no games are in jeopardy.
