See Six Mustang Games For Just $90; The Magic Returns On Jan. 4

Oct. 25, 2013

DALLAS (SMU) - Want to catch some exciting SMU basketball action in the newly-renovated and expanded Moody Coliseum, but can't commit to season tickets? Check out the SMU 6-Pack Mini-Plan. For just $90, fans can catch six American Athletic Conference games, including the big Jan. 4th event when the Magic Returns to Moody.

In addition to a ticket for that Jan. 4th Moody opener against No. 19 UConn, tickets for games against USF (1/15), No. 13 Memphis (2/1), Temple (2/6), Cincinnati (2/8) and Houston (2/19) are also included in this limited-edition six-pack.

The $47-million renovation and expansion of Moody Coliseum will be completed in December, so the Mustangs will host all conference games on campus beginning in January. The renovated Moody Coliseum will provide many new and improved features, including a renovated main entry lobby, expanded concourses with raised ceilings, club seats, loge boxes, private suites, group suites, new event space, offices, team locker rooms and meeting space.

SMU begins its second season under Head Coach Larry Brown with all five starters returning, while adding the No. 14-ranked recruiting class and three transfers who sat out last season. The Mustangs return Cannen Cunningham, Jalen Jones, Ryan Manuel, Nick Russell, and Shawn Williams after the group started the entire 2012-13 season. They are joined by transfers Nic Moore (from Illinois State), Markus Kennedy (from Villanova) and Crandall Head (from Illinois). The recruiting class includes McDonald's All-American Keith Frazier, one of the nation's top junior college prospects in Yanick Moreira, and a pair of Illinois' Mr. Basketball finalists from the Chicago area in Sterling Brown and Ben Moore. The Mustangs also return Kevin Dunleavy and add newcomers Jean-Micheal Mudiay and Jonathan Wilfong.

For more information or to purchase, call the SMU Ticket Office at 214-SMU-GAME (214-768-4263).
