Saw a message on social media that we are up +1,000 new season tix. Does that bring the total to around 2,000? Not being a smart [deleted], just wondering.

There were about 2k last year, so we should be 3k+ right now.

This. It's actually more like 3,500 if I'm not mistaken. I can get a more concrete number on Monday when I talk with the Director of Sales but I'm pretty sure the number is up at 3.5k. Not really a surprise given a new arena, the buzz of the team, ect. The new arena alone should boost season tickets considerably.

Well I bought some but have not seen any yet. Are they going to send them out some day?

Arkansas Customs is notoriously backed up this time of year.

Well, I just bought two season tickets, first time ever for me. I don't know anything really about basketball but am pretty excited to see where this thing goes...

I think they sent out the non-conference games this week, and the conference games will come later since they'll be in different venues obviously.

I have hear 3500 also, and they just started the smaller package deal, so if you count those I would guess we will be over 4 when we start play in garland. All pretty much without a lick of advertising, which I don't get.

They don't need to advertise. I can say it til I'm blue in the face, but Legends is running ticket ops for SMU right now. These guys are the best in the business and they will get them sold. I expect that stadium to be sold out every game. I can tell you for a fact that Louisville and UConn will not be available to the public already. These guys know what they're doing. They will right the ship then at some point hand it back over to SMU and have their own ticket office work on selling in the future.

UConn and Louisville would be sold out without Legends. The jump in ticket sales has more to do with LB, the recruiting classes, and the football team not doing well than anything Legends has done. The question is what are they doing now to sell out the OOC games that do not have big name teams coming in to Garland?

With no advertising yet, I think they realize that Garland is a tough sell. They obviously aren't bothering with that. They are going to start pushing these mini-season packages that have all of the Moody games. That is what I bought, and I am sure others are going to do that as well.

Invest the money in order to get the greater return, it is smart business.

What I am really interested in is how we are doing on suites. If we sell the suites out, that is massive income the bball program has never had.
