Definitely nice to be in the mix as a "dark horse". I'm looking forward to when the big spotlights begin to turn and shine brightly, and more frequently, in this direction. Guessing it won't be much longer.

You didn't seriously need an article to confirm this? lol. I watched them against Rhode Island, they pass the eye test for me as a top 20 team right now. They look good and strong. The most disappointing imo is Frazier. That Rhode Island team is good and they dismantled them. RI had a recruiting class similar to SMU, no excuse for getting beat like that.
That said, Nic Moore is an absolute beast. Such a sound player fundamentally and can knock down the trey. He makes the right plays 95% of the time and you couldn't ask for a better floor general. The most impressive thing I saw in the first two games is his understanding of when to push the ball and when to walk it up the court. It's rare to have a young point guard understand the differencing between playing fast and playing quick. There's a huge difference between the two and he gets it.

Frazier is a bit behind because he missed practices before the season started due to being hurt. He'll be fine once he gets caught up.

I'm not too concerned about missing practices. More concerned with decision making. He looks like a freshman, that shouldn't happen with the talent on the team. A 5* McD's should look like he belongs and he doesn't. He goes one-on-one and doesn't fit in the offense right now. And quite frankly, his one-on-one game isn't on the Harrison's level or Seldon Jr/Mason. That needs to be addressed. That's moreso what I was referring to...

What I am saying is that he is still learning the offense and defense. That is what Coach Brown is saying by where the missed practices got him behind.
