SMU leads 29-17 at halftime — 17 points are the fewest given up in a half this season, breaking previous mark of 22 surrendered in first half of win over TCU.
Ponies' D clamping down: Southeast Louisiana shooting just 23.1% on field goals, and 22.2% on 3s … but how to explain 42.9% from FT line? It's not like Ponies are playing defense on free throws …
