So we need to tell Larry Brown that he needs to call a full timeout with no less than 15:01 on the clock in the 2nd half of every home game. It should be a full time out and if possible, let the team take the floor and call another full time out.

No liquor in the club? Main reason I forked over the extra money was for that privilege. I understand beer and wine only for the main seating area, but they need to provide the good stuff for club patrons.

Not a wine drinker, but it's funny they specify "white wine". Any reason for this?

Hate to be a pessimist, this is a big step forward for SMU, just disappointed I won't get to have a pre game bourbon or scotch.

I assume it is more for the stain factor.

Very fired up about this - great news for SMU

Would not be in favor of any stronger stuff. No need. Could only lead to issues. When people get in trouble at these events is it almost always hard stuff induced.

• SMU Catering/Aramark will serve a variety of brands, not exclusive of any bottler or distributer.

There goes the "single distributor" theory

But it's not like a local brewery can just set up shop in the concourse. I do hope Aramark gets creative and offers a little variety. We'll see in a month. Since the Ath Dept reads this site, maybe they followed the old craft beer thread.

That's BS, it's the person, not the type of alcohol. Idiots get in trouble just the same on wine and beer. Another idea of the nanny society, we must protect people from themselves. Ridiculous.

They should let students have more than 3 drinks to get the student section rowdier, we don't have to drive home after the games anyways
