Just thought I'd share this email about student tickets with all of you alumni because I thought it was pretty funny. Apparently the administration thought there was a good chance the students would camp out for tickets so they sent out this email with guidelines for doing so. I was there for tickets at 7:15 this morning and there certainly were no tents. Hopefully one day there will be a need for such rules.

SMU BASKETBALL STUDENT TICKET Campout Rules & Information

Location
· Ticket Plaza
o Line/tents to form/set up under the canopy forming a line from the ticket window running west to east. Additional tents will extend outside the canopy lining the outside of Ford Stadium.
o Line/tents will be allowed to form/set up 24 hours ahead of the ticket office opening.

Basic Information
· Maximum of four (4) persons per tent
o A four-person tent is the maximum size that can be set up
o People in the same tent are your campout partner(s)
· One person must be present at a tent at all times.
· Random roll calls will take place
o If you and your partner(s) are absent from the campout area you will no longer be eligible for ticket pick-up.
· Bathrooms are located outside of Gate 2
· Must respect city noise ordinances during specific hours
· No alcohol allowed
· No grills or other types of cooking equipment on site

Good to have a policy in place. But it may have been a bit chilly; and we probably aren't' quite there yet.

I definitely think whether affected some things.

typical smu micromangement. Wonder how long it took them to think all these rules up.

Does Burberry have a camping line? When it does, we should be prepared...
