Obviously, very early rankings but wow...we are ahead of UConn.

Crazy how far UConn has dropped in a lot of these polls after 1 loss. Will be interesting to see what happens to them in the AP

Beat Cincy! (and everyone else we should) and we could be in top 3 of AAC and be a bubble tourney team.

sign of how much this team has improved:

SMU hitting almost 51% FG vs opponents almost 36%
SMU out rebounding opponents by almost 10 boards per game
5 wins against teams with winning records
2-1 against former SWC mates

AAC play could be a reality check, but this has been fun so far and it should be even better next year. I think our guys are going to be jacked to play in front of a packed house in the new Moody

Up to #45 in the USA Today/Sagarin rankings. I think we we're #52 yesterday before the game.

As a 3rd place team in this league we would be a tournament lock based on our non-conference results. RealtimeRPI is now projecting us as 12-6 in AAC play. That would put us at 23-8 going into the AAC tournament. We win at leaf 1 if not 2 to finish 24 or 25-9 and that would even give us a high seed. Let's do it!!!

Orsini never met a coaching search he couldn't turn in to a national joke.
