After the Cincy loss and Uconn win, we're 31st in ESPN's BPI, which equates to an 8th seed at large bid in the NCAA tourney. As long as we keep beating the teams we're supposed to beat, we could be on our way to the big dance!

Awesome!

I'd rather be a 9 seed though. :)

That's cool. It has UConn as the last team in. Giving the AAC five teams in the dance.

Why 9? Play 8 in 1st rnd and if you win, still play 1/16 next round

9 seeds win 53% of 8/9 matchups!

I will say this. If we are on the bubble on selection Sunday, we might get in over another team because of the LB storyline. RPI is king, but don't think for a second that things like that aren't in play with the committee.

Agree 100% but hope we play well enough not to be on the bubble.

Not to mention that according to that projection system it currently has the 9 seeds as Clemson, Oklahoma, Memphis, and Baylor. Assuming the committee would avoid an in-conference tournament matchup and that we would be matched with a team in the same region we would be playing either Oklahoma or Baylor. I know this list is completely speculative this far out but a potential SMU-Baylor tourney matchup just got me so excited. Amazing to think about

I would like to see us play Baylor or Kentucky in the second round but not in the first round. Just mt 2 cents.

If we get to choose I would rather meet Baylor or Kentucy in the final 4. :D
