Great win yesterday, from a UVA fan.
Posted: Mon Jan 06, 2014 12:15 amI write a UVA blog and when I began my scouting report on SMU, I was instantly impressed. I really like your team and how y'all play. Having seen your film, I knew going into our game that it would be one of our toughest of the OOC schedule, if not they year. Nic Moore and Markus Kennedy are studs. Frazier and Moreira have loads of potential. Russell is a nice veteran. And then you have tons of other talent across the roster. Not to mention the fact that you have Larry Brown coaching.
Obviously I'm glad that we were able to come up with the win against y'all. Before last night, that was our biggest win of the year (and I wouldn't be surprised at all if SMU ends up being better than FSU by year's end...in fact I expect it). Unfortunately, we haven't been as good as we should be...the Tennessee game was, "just one of those games." But I still think we'll be a good team by season's end.
Anyways, I came here to congratulate y'all on yesterday's win. Obviously, it was a big day in a lot of ways. Awesome new arena. Great team to root for (and only getting better). Great win over a good team.
