Yes we have Emmanuel Mudiay committed. Thank you Mr. Mudiay! Could not be more excited about the direction of our Basketball Team! Just curious to know how many recruits we will sign for next year's incoming Freshman and Transfers Class? In addition to Mudiay are we looking to add 1, 2, 3 maybe 4 new players?

We have 2 scholarships left.

Is it realistic to think that maybe one additional scholarship will be freed up via natural attrition (transfers, grades, cuts)? I am not sure how fluid players come and go in basketball. Or is it more realistic that our roster stays together for next year... With only 3 additions. Mudiay + 2 More.

Good question. I was under the impression we had 2 TOTAL (Shawn and Nick) so 1 more now (after E-Man signing). So we have 1 more now. So the PF who posted 2 probably meant one remaining and then probably one more through attrition.

Never mind, I forgot about Jalen. So, yeah 2, possibly 3 more. Plenty for Myles Turner and an offensive SF scorer type.

We have already had 1 transfer and I hope we do not have any grade problems. 2 solid additions along with Mudiay will do us just fine next year imo.

Unfortunately the cupboard is getting pretty bare.

2015 is when LB is planning to load up. 5 or so scholarships will be available then.

Oh yeah no doubt. We need to offer Newman given his relationship with Mudiay.

But yeah 2015:
C-(Diamond Stone/Elijah Thomas/Tyler Davis)
PG- (Jawun Evans (or someone higher ranked depending on Mudiay's development))
SG- (Alonzo Trier/Jimmy Whitt/Admon Gilder)
PF- (DJ Hogg)
SF- ????

I'm sure I'm missing some big targets, but all those guys I listed are 4 or 5 stars. It should turn out to be a great class.

Not sure whose cupboard is bare. SMU only graduates 2 seniors this year and they are not the lead players. In fact their replacements have in essence already replace them. Cupboard looks pretty darn full to me with Mudiay en route and two scholarships waiting for top tier guys and/or saved for 2015.

What about Melvin Swift, PF from Houston, for 2014?

I'm talking about what's left in the 2014 class.... The teams roster is going to be great.

E Mudiay has signed, not just a commitment. We have Jalen's departure but we signed Mudiay's brother so that's only one more available space, right?

We can take 2 more pre attrition, and as many as 7 in 15

Would u think any others would transfer out? Head? I guess you wonder if minutes arent where some players expect. We'll see
