Time I remember going to game w a decent amount of students and they were not in groups wearing Greek letters.

Lots of red and blue. Looked good.

And an elf.

Rush has not started my friend .

Just kidding. I fully expect for the greek jersey tradition to be dropped. My fraternity won't be doing it, and I'm pretty sure I heard that Lambda, KA, and Fiji are all dropping it. I'm sure the rest of the fraternities will follow suit.

Yeah, SAE doesnt wear them either right? Im really curious to see what the during rush week game is like, I have a strong feeling alot of students are planning on going who don't have tickets

I'm just excited that for the first time in forever, an SMU hoops game would objectively be a great rush activity...you know, before hitting the titty bars or hiring strippers for a house party. Great hoops and cold beer gets a thumbs up.

Last couple years its been a thing where all the freshemen sit with whatever fraternity they want to go and everyone kinda checks each other out to see which freshmen are sitting where. This year itll be so full you wont be able to tell who is who which is great

Let me know when the sororities have all their rushees in attendance. I might buy some seats a little closer to the student section for that one

The fraternities and sororities should make red and blue Greek-themed shirts for the games...like Kappa Loves SMU basketball or whatever. That way they can be exclusive and show some school spirit at the same time

Or make a shirt with everyone's letters...and GDI......like We Love SMU Basketball. This way they can show the we will collectively kick your axx school spirit.

How bout shirts that say SMU? Shouldn't you support your school instead of your frat or sorority at a basketball game?

yep, looks really dumb as we've said before. if we are on TV that game, looks even worse. Just support your school, not that hard.

they struggle with this during rush especially. Other schools make their pledges attend games, but make them wear a certain uniform (jeans with SMU golf shirt for example) that reflects school spirit. that would be the way to go. less dorky. more SMU

All pledges should dress as Elfs.
