I'm curious if anybody knows the ticket sales status for the USF game?

Doubt it since you can still buy ticket packages for the remaining games.

Why would it be a sellout? Not a big opponent

It's close to a sellout according to the ticket office.

Hopefully one day we will get to where we sellout regardless of who we play because we want to see SMU play. If it is a sellout only when we play a big opponent that would mean that fans are more interested in seeing the other team more than SMU.

5000 would be a good crowd for USF but if we somehow beat Louisville on Sunday......Moody could certainly be like it was for the UConn game.

a REAL sellout, or a Baylor put-a-tarp-over-1/4-of-the-seats sellout?

Oh, wow. I came to this page thinking something totally different - that I'd be reading about some unpleasant thing that USF had done…

that is great, once the new Moody wears off, we'll get a true sense of what we can expect. Hopefully 5k can be attainable as an average

A sell out just means the ticket office no longer has tickets. Doesn't guarantee that season ticket holders, corporate holders, ect will show up. Even if it's a complete sell-out, there will undoubtedly be a lot of empty seats, happens everywhere when it's not a big opponent, it even happens at Duke...

There were a lot of empty seats at the UConn sellout.

I thought the ticket office had a policy that if students/faculty pick up tix and don't actually attend, they are not permitted to get tickets for the following 3 games.

Student section appeared to be full. It was the balance of the arena that had the empty seats. There were plenty vacant in the upper blues but also a number of empties in the higher dollar reds.
