Louisville, Memphis, and Cincy all in top 25 -- both polls. No AAC teams in top 10 in either.

And yet we improved our Sagarin ranking, probably with help from Virginia and A&M.

This stretch of the next 6 games are huge. REALLY need to come out of them 6-0 to have any chance to get to the tourney.

We lost to Virginia so how would that help our RPI?

I think we could afford to lose at Houston but we should be favored and should win in a close game.

Think you are right. When it comes down to it 5-1 maybe even 4-2 would pout us in good position.

We are 1-2 against ranked (or to be ranked) teams. Our two loses to ranked teams came on the road.

We have a huge 5 game stretch coming up. We need to win all games in our conference (home and away) against the Florida teams, Hofstra and Rutgers.

We then need to win our home games against the ranked opponents. It will be a challenge with our injuries and tendency to get into stupid foul trouble within the first minute of the opening tip off.

Yep zero bad losses, which is great.

10-6 in conference puts us at 20-8. Win a few conference tourney games, and it mayyyyyyyy get a little frisky on the Hilltop. If we get into the tournament, I pray we go to Raleigh (easy drive for me), but San Antonio would be a TON OF PFs.

Numbers are off. We play 18 conference games, plus an OOC with Hofstra remains, for a total of 31 games. 24 or 25 regular season wins are doable, 22 or 23 wins are very doable.

Good catch Max - I was living in the old conference times back when everyone played 16 conference games.
