Yes, I know this sounds strange coming from me but I think we are. Not saying I know what seed we should be but the team is a tournament team imo. The thing I was looking for is how we would do against middle of the road competition. We have played mostly bad teams and good teams but not many middle of the road teams. USF is a middle of the road team that is not bad but they are super good either and we preformed very well at home against them. I put UCF and Rutgers in that same category of middle of the road teams as well. Let's beat UCF and go from there. GO SMU.

We are good and only getting better. Need to reel off a few straight W's as we player lesser opponents. Then it's off to the big show with home games against memphis and cincy

It's not that illogical. This team is the 4th best in the conference on a neutral floor. And they don't have a bad loss. One bad loss could crush this team (Rutgers, Temple, UCF, USF). That's all it takes for them to be on the outside looking back in. But if they sweep those and get a couple more quality wins, they got a strong resume. I'm still hoping the Virginia loss doesn't come back to bite them. Gotta have those.

In other news, Rebel, wtf. I don't like these damn predictions. Take them elsewhere

Be interesting to see how we do against UCF at UCF and Rutgers at Moody. I consider Houston as a pretty good team and not a middle of the road team.

LOL. That is why I said I know this sounds strange coming from me. Obviously I don't know whether the team will make the NCAA tournament or not but I believe we are currently playing at the level of an NCAA tournament team. Keep up the good work Mustangs.

we have lost to all the good teams we have played except uconn. not exactly nc material yet.

I've watched quite a bit of ball this year and I haven't seen 40 teams better. I think they're right in that mix but at the end of the day it will come down to W-L. Tourney or not, Moody needs to be packed so that Brown can feel comfortable bringing in recruits for games and know they will have a good experience. Obviously the game is a very, very small piece of recruiting, but that is where it starts or what puts one school over the top. Need the Dallas kids to know this is a great hometown alternative to Kansas, Texas, or Oklahoma State.

And as for the argument they've lost to all good teams they've played, so has Ohio State pretty much. But if you win the games you're supposed to, that's better than 99% of the teams in CBB. That's the sign of a good team. Great teams win the games they're not supposed to.

I've been saying 18 wins and NIT for awhile now. Going to change that to 20 wins and NCAA berth after the past 4 games

We beat the team tied for first in the SEC (Texas A&M, 3-0 in SEC play). That's not a good win?

btw, OBF made a great point. The fact that we've avoided a bad loss is huge, especially if you're in that 30-50 range.
