From when the injury was announced, that means he will back for the Memphis game (2/1), right? I know three weeks is being optimistic but why not? What determines when he returns from this type of injury? MRI? How he feels? Both?

I could be wrong. But, I thought the Memphis game was 2/1?

I'm guessing he meant 2/1, which is why he referenced "three weeks".

It will probably be based on how it feels plus amount of swelling after a work out.

That would be awesome if he feels 100%. Of course I'd say let's not rush it. We'll need him more down the stretch (last 5 games and then conference tourney). Rather he'd play it conservative and stay out longer if he's not feeling 100%. Knee injuries are tricky, particularly mentally.

AND this is the MCL....very tricky and risky to rush it. Error on the conservative side and bring him on late....

They literally wiggle your leg side to side to see if you have any snap back
