Absolutely... love his game. Of course, I have to admit that I got the most fired up when Frazier drained that first 3.

the think is that was not even close to MK's best game. But he is a force in there.
Keep in mind the last few games were without Yannick - much needed depth when he comes back. I predict he is back for Memphis. Houston will be a grind.

I hated to hear that Yannick was hurt but I really think that him being out has helped Kennedy get completely into the flow of games. We never want to see one of our guys get hurt but I think the injury is actually making the team, as a whole, better and that can only help as the season goes on.

we've actually gotten better in Moreria's absence-not a knock on Yannick-just credit going to hard work taking up the slack. We've got Frazier headed in right direction, Kennedy has grown into a monster, Ben Moore is excelling, Nick Russell is playing better. Must be some damn good coaching going on.

i agree MK has gotten better with all the PT. I just know we need Yannick back for Cinn/Memphis/Louisville. All our inside guys will be needed.

I don't disagree at all. Having Yannick back and playing well for those games is critical. However, I don't think Kennedy would have established himself like he has recently without the extended minutes he's been getting.
Right now, it's going to be hard to find the minutes for both of them if Yannick comes back at 100%. That's a good thing if both of them can sustain a high level of play.

And as I've said a million times you weren't paying attention to what I actually said. I said the reason that SMU was not competitive with its natural and traditional rivals was because they had a non-competitive admission model. They do now. Larry Brown was sub-500 with some body else's recruits and even then SMU has had a competitive admission model for 6 years. The only way to disprove my point would be for Larry Brown to "Coach Up" players recruited under a non-competitive admission model. Never did happen by any SMU Coach in either Football or Basketball while SMU had a non-competitive admission model. Further neither our Football or Basketball coach would have taken the job in the first place

Touch a nerve-because I was right? They adopted every single point I made over a decade ago? SMU is competing today's under the Stallion Model

Thanks for all your hard work. You have single handedly saved SMU athletics. Now can you do something with the football coach?
