Basketball and Social Media and why it is important.

Postby Dooby » Wed Jan 22, 2014 3:17 pm

Guys, it has been discussed before but this is important. We are all excited about the amount of media coverage we have started getting. Obviously, we want more of it. How do we get it? Social media.

The newspapers and websites track this stuff. If you have a Facebook account or twitter or Instagram or whatever, please use it. Link to articles. Use hashtags. Retweet SMU stuff.

Every game I send at least 1 tweet during the game. At least 1 or 2 tweets after the game. I tweet every SMU article I find.

Don't copy and paste articles though. Make sure the websites get the views so they know people read the SMU stories.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

This is why June Jones is such a failure - he never does this stuff.

I think the reason June is a failure is because he doesn't recruit and refuses to update his offense. But he sucks at social media too

Good suggestion.

Can't we go five freaking minutes without a sideways hijack to rephrase for the seventy-umpteenteen time a very amnesic opinion about JJ as coach?

Dooby: Good stuff. I will take your very sage advice.
