Cool Thing the Players Did Last Night

After the varsity, they all came down the sideline where the benches and scoring table are and allowed the students to high five and congratulate them as we exited.
Was really cool and I would not at all be upset if it became a tradition.

That's really cool. I'm guessing that was Nic Moore's idea because he did it after Varsity at the USF game too. He was the only one that night.

My vote: never. I've always been a believer in "act like you've been there, even if you haven't."
That said, rushing the court/field after a win is an undeniably exciting scene.
If we were to clinch an AAC regular season title at home (especially against Louisville), that might change my mind... anything short of that isn't quite enough. Call me greedy.

I think, especially in light of LBs comments about the fanbase being too congratulatory even when we lose, we should resist the temptation to rush the Court unless we win the conference, at which point, were it to happen, I am prepared to totally disobey the nice chap who attempts to stop people accessing the Court after games until after the away team has left.

Dumb question, why do you guys say "after the varsity game?" Or call it a varsity game...I've never heard it referred to that at the collegiate level before

Varsity is SMU's
alma mater. The band plays it at the end of every game. They're referring to after the band finishes playing the song.
