Louisville Game Info

Just wanted to bring this to the board for anyone that was thinking about going to the Louisville game but didn't have season tickets (I realize most of you do). I talked to a friend in the ticket office and these tickets WILL NOT go on sale to the public via single game packages. This game will be sold out and the only way to get them is through the 3 game mini packs they are selling. Nothing will be left when they get done with those. I just wanted to make people aware in case they were waiting on trying to find tickets otherwise you'll have to buy the game on the secondary market.

My recommendation is buy the 3 game pack for sure because it will be cheaper than going through the secondary market in my opinion especially as the game draws closer and tickets are scarce.

The three game pack is an unbelievably great deal. You can get Memphis, Cincinnati and Louisville as your three games.

It would be hard pressed to find a bigger bang for your back entertainment option anywhere in the US.

I bought tickets off stubhub a month ago for my parents, but I'm starting to question the legitimacy of the tickets.

Why's that? StubHub backs them guaranteed anyways. SMU has more than one set off season ticket print-offs in case they didn't look like your season tickets. And if they're .pdf then they're definitely fine. SMU actually already fired the publishing company that printed the tickets because they lost so many, sent out wrong tickets, ect.

Just FYI, no event is EVER "sold out" until tip. At any school, anywhere in the country. They always hold back inventory, it's common practice. That said, you just may not be able to buy anymore for that game.

Physical tickets. Will be shipped to me on 2/28. I just don't understand why the person wouldn't ship the tickets to me now unless they didn't physically have them yet.

But if they are guaranteed I guess I don't have to worry.

Oh, I can answer that question. He likely already has the tickets, but StubHub let's you say when you'll get the tickets in case you haven't already got them. So let's say you are selling your SMU tickets on StubHub, you list them in November because you've already ordered them. The ticket office doesn't know when they'll be sending your tickets so you just select the last day possible, probably 1/28, so then you don't have to worry about it because you should definitely have the tickets by then. I assume you meant 1/28 even though you typed 2/28. If they're coming 2/28, you should definitely worry because you may have bought them for the game at Memphis? :? If so, you need to contact StubHub right now.
