Any chatter about OOC opponents next year?

Any big donors or people hear rumblings of who LB might be trying to get into Moody next year? Would be great to have a marquee game or two to beef up the home schedule with Louisville leaving and the team going to be ranked.

I'm not sure if it's a return home-and-home. Many times in CBB they are not.

"SMU will resume its home-home basketball series with former Southwest Conference opponent Arkansas, athletic director Rick Hart said Monday. The Mustangs’ schedule will be released soon."

Would be willing to bet UI-Chicago will be a return game for SMU, since LB got the Chicago kids home. . . No guarantee! But wouldn't be surprised to see a game with Richmond in the future. Richmond has 6 Texas kids on the roster with 4 of the 6 from the D/FW area. They have 2 players from Highland Park, 1 player from Dallas Hillcrest, and Nancy Leiberman's kid who went to Plano West

Actually it was Reunion Arena that they called Barnhill South.. for SWC tourney. And yes.. it most certainly was a home arena for them.

Arkansas may give up playing away games after this year. They are imploding and forming lynch mobs.

At SMU or at NCSU in 2014?

Starting next year, I'm thinking SMU might have to release their schedule early. . . Kind of like how the Dukes, Kansas, etc, etc release their schedules ahead of when most schools release their schedules.

I love playing Arkansas, it's a twofer -- SEC and former SWC.
Likewise, TCU -- Big 12 and former SWC (plus it's our most natural rival).
NC State puts a third major conference on the schedule.
Richmond would be a great addition. They are historically a sound team and would likely help our RPI.
I assume we will pick up a decent opponent or two during the holiday tournaments.
My question for the basketball experts: How should a team balance it's non-conference schedule between tune-up games and RPI builders?

LB has said he wants Kentucky, Kansas, and UNC. I remember he said something along the lines of Kentucky being difficult to attract. I would like a home game against a big 12 team such as Texas, Tech, Baylor, OU
