solid win against a good conference team on the road AND we looked like crap in the 1st half.

Slow your roll gostangs. We've beaten one good team and lost to the 4 others thus far.

We are a good team, and I think it's awesome we're getting looks, but we've played the 107th hardest schedule in the country. I'm curious to see how we do against Memphis before I think we really deserve to be talked about as a legit top 25 team. Just my two cents

Agree with blackout, with our weak SOS so far, and only one marquee win over our tough opponents we won't get enough to crack the top 25. Beat Memphis and I think we sneak in.

Our RPI just jumped from #45 (just before the end of the game) to #41 (right after the game) according to http://www.rpiforecast.com/live-rpi.html

AP Poll Analysis: easy to do at this link http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketb ... asontype/2

I predict KSU and Baylor fall out of the top 25 and Creighton and UConn take their spots. Ohio State could also fall out but I think it's more likely that they will fall to #22-#23

Agree we get votes but don't make the top 25. We need to beat USF and Memphis to get that kind of attention.

Even with some having the belief that the Mustangs could be a dangerous team within the American, the general assumption was that the program wouldn’t take off until Emmanuel Mudiay arrives on campus next season. But with a more than capable floor general in Nic Moore calling the shots, that time may be now.

Winners of five straight games with a trip to USF up next, a lot more will be learned about this SMU squad when they host Memphis on February 1. And if players such as Moore, Kennedy and Nick Russell continue to play as they have, the Mustangs are certainly capable of winning that one.

Just check http://www.rpiforecast.com/live-rpi.html

You don't have to wait, it is usually updated 15 minutes after the game is over.
