Win over Florida helps them.

It's a good thing. It will look good when we beat them again!

Win out this week and things change rather dramatically. SMU hasn’t been in the nation spotlight for MBB in decades so it makes sense for voters to be cautious. We still need a couple of marquee wins to break into the top 25.

we absolutely cannot afford to slip up at USF. Would love to beat them comfortably (remember Memphis beat USF there by 15) and head back to Moody with the big match up against Memphis If we win that, we will be ranked by next Monday. Memphis beat UL at Kentucky, as a marquee win, but they've lost at home to Uconn and and cincy. Memphis is a high-scoring team. We will need to have out A+ game on both sides, and limit our turnovers. I think our crowd will help us tremendously, and I expect us to win both.

They have the same record as us...and they have beaten 3 straight top 25 teams (although it's 3 slumping teams). We will know a lot when they play Kansas Saturday
