Yeah, it's definitely a generational gap (hate towards UT). Understandable.

Either way, I'm glad this POS story is out of the way (besides folks digging up random crap like where producers attended school and what not)...let the fun continue.

Just because there is a generational gap doesnt mean its not justified. UT supporter Belo/WFAA went after us until we got the DP all the while ignoring similar or worse goings on in Austin. Then, DeLoss Dodds masterminds the break up of the SWC using our recent troubles as an excuse for ditching us. UT is essentially the reason we are where we are. They couldnt compete with us if we went to to toe with them in recruiting. UT has room for only one big rival, OU. They expect everyone else to stand aside and ignore their recruiting sins while the plod along with great talent and mediocre coaching.

I know that several on this board completely disagree with me and will disparage my point of view but I was at SMU in the 80s and have lived in the UT community since the early 90s and I am appalled at what I have seen down here compared to the recruiting violations we were nailed for.
