What is the latest on him? It will be interesting to see what Larry does when Yannick does come back.

Yeah, I thought we really missed him vs. Louisville.
I'd imagine he'll have pretty limited minutes in his first few games back, though

I feel like he didn't play more than 20 minutes a game anyways.. so not sure what u mean by limited? less than 12?

I do not think they should bring him back too fast. Not saying Memphis is too fast but I would either wait another few games or work him in slowly during the Memphis game.

Don't rush him back. We will need him down the stretch. We've been able to weather the storm of his injury very well. We need him fully back and 100% for Louisville/conference tournament/March Madness.

Those are pretty much my thoughts as well.

Agree with what's been said.
I'd much rather be cautious and avoid risking re-injury that might force him to miss the key 4 game stretch at the end of the season. Uconn, Louisville and Memphis in a 4 game stretch will go a long way toward determining where this team ends up.
So hypothetically if he would be medically cleared in time for the home game against Memphis, I would personally hold him out and then give him limited minutes (10-15) against Temple to prep for the big game against Cincinnati. If he isn't medically clear for Memphis, I'd think about holding him out till after Cincinnati and easing him in against Rutgers/Temple etc. Aka the easier games. But that's just my two cents and I'm glad I'm not making the decision.

I think I might change my position on this. We need him for Memphis. Not that we have to start him or play him a lot of minutes but his defense could help.

Would have made a huge impact tonight with Markus getting handled inside.

Would love to see Yanick put on about 10-15 pounds of muscle.

I read a quote from him (or maybe a coach?) that all he's done since being injured is eat and lift weights.
Maybe by next season he'll have bulked up a bit. He's already an asset, but he could be a real monster around the rim...
