In and Out Burger will give burgers to the first 500 fans and not just students. Guess I will be there early. LOL.

Does anyone know if beer will be for sale at this?

Beer is sold inside of Moody before tip. Not sure how early, but I love getting there early, sipping on a beer and watching the pre-game anticipation hustle. Years past I was in the seat right at tip-off, but something about new moody new team. I recommend trying it, especially for a big game like this.

Agree. A beer and sitting back watching pre tip sights and listening to sounds is quite relaxing, entertaining and fun.

I agree. Did this for the UCONN game to take it all in. Very relaxing indeed. Cool to see the seats fill in (except the red ones of course)

This is one of the most underrated parts of attending a sporting event. As I've gotten older, I've started doing this more. Over the past few years I've done this when visiting MLB parks. San Francisco and the Chicago Cubs come to mind as being very entertaining. Arrive early, stay late and take it all in. You're not rushed and you get more out of the experience.

I got there 20 minutes early thinking I would be bored. I got my beer, sat down, watched the pre-game shoot around, then again thought I would be bored when the team went back into the locker room but just watching the game day staff get things ready was even entertaining. In an odd way you almost feel proud, but I guess after watching 20 years of the other, we are proud. And there is an energy in the air before tip. I'm sure SMU is having these pre-game parties at Moody in hopes to get people to their seats earlier.

If you don't get there early normally, give it a shot saturday
