Love the band, don't get me wrong, but they should only be playing spirit music. Everything else sucked the life of the crowd.
And someone get them some beers, many looked bored, and didn't match the energy of the students at all. Don't they pre-party before games anymore? They should be drunk and rowdy by tipoff.

I can't even remember hearing the band at all today. No disrespect To them, it's just the students drowned them out

The band looked like they'd rather have been in the library studying. Really weird. Always the most spirited group at SMU, but not sure what's with this current age group.
Seems like they would be overjoyed they don't have to watch boring games.

I've always been a very....meh...person when it comes to the band.
The band was freaking awesome today - a great mix of spirit songs mixed in with hip hop / pop covers (light 'em up), and a Pony Fans request for the theme song from the God Father!!!!!!!
Doesn't get much better! Kudos to them!

The band was fantastic today. If you want to discuss crowd killers...the mini mustang cheerleaders. Good lord. Please stop this.

I did like when the played the theme to the Godfather. But they played it at too fast of a pace imo.

That was a nice touch with teh Godfather theme..I had just watched Godfather II just last week. The music by the band AND the scoreboard music is MUCH better this year.
