Most encouraging sign

was the breakout game by Sterling. We know he can defend but today he showed he can score too. If we can get 10-12 points out of him every game that makes us a much more dangerous team. He played a complete game.

btw, I didn't realize until I got home that Markus was 10-of-10 from the field with 15 boards. In a conference full of talented 4s, he's playing as well as anyone.

Sterling isn't flashy or quick, but he plays very smart, rarely makes a mistake

The fact it's already basically assumed Markus will have a double-double - as a sophomore - is pretty awesome.

Talented 4 but playing as a 5 right now.

LA_Mustang, isn't it funny how a couple of months ago I was calling for Sterling Brown to be part of our Starting 5 and at the time you and a couple of other "famous" posters wanted to tell me just how much I didn't know about basketball? Glad you came around. Now you are recognizing just how much Sterling Brown adds to our team. Credit to Sterling Brown. He played an incredible game. Lots of energy, high motor, always seems to be in the right place. He is a baller! Definitely a coming out party for Sterling! I guess there is a reason that he has started the last 8 games for us. What a great win! Go Mustangs!

Definitely not fightin' words :) I am laughing my [deleted] off. Just tired of all the hate on ponyfans.com Remember we are all rooting for the same team. My post was not meant to be a personal attack. Really just pointing out that "we" actually have the same opinion about the importance of Sterling Brown to our basketball team. Just found it funny that someone who continues to talk down to me and attack my posts would recycle what I have already posted on ponyfans.com over two months ago. Go figure :) Just happy that LA_Mustang has come around. Nothing personal, LA_Mustang, I actually value most of your posts and enjoy reading your insight most of the time. No need for a [deleted] contest. Go Mustangs!

31 points from Freshman were crucial-and they were just complementary to the rest of the team. Exciting for the future to see them step up against quality competition

He, KF, and NR all need to start becoming more of an outside threat - consistently. When we do, we are as good as anyone in the country.

NR is a senior. With Nick; "what you see is what you get!" Thing about Nick Russell that bothers me; is when he misses one or 2 consecutive shots in a row. Then he becomes reluctant to look for his shot the rest of the game. But, to see Sterling hit back-to-back 3 point shots was real encouraging. Also think Keith had one of his better games of the year against Memphis

keith had his best game. However needs to celebrate a little less and haul A down on d - or Brown will sit him on the bench for good.

I think his three pointer to 'stop the bleeding' after Memphis' 8 point run was one of the most important plays of the game.

Agreed on the hustle back to defense, although I do think his defense has improved dramatically of late.
