USF loss is more terrible than a lot of us would like to let on. Nope. I wish bur, but most we get is 3 or 4 votes

They mentioned CBS ranking SMU 25th on the NBC Sunday Night Sports which is kind of odd, but cool. Nothing SMU on Dale's broadcast, shocking.

Each game won will only help our rankings. Beat Temple.

Yup. That win against Memphis basically negated the loss to USF. Literally sitting in the same boat with both bracketology and votes. Sucks.

Assuming we beat Temple (I'm sure our guys won't take them lightly), if we beat Cincy, I don't see how they can't put us in the top 25 (unless the USF loss really killed it for us). But that Cincy team is REAL good. We beat them, that's saying something right there!

Ok, so I'm going to call it now and say we get to 22 wins in the regular season . . .
TEMPLE - W
CIN - L
@ RUTG - W
@ TEM - W
HOU - W
@ CONN - L
UCF - W
LOU - L
@ MEM - L
I guess we can go dancing with this record but would be good to win a game or 2 in the conference tourney to seal it (loss at USF really sucks ... the games at Temple and Rutgers are also "trap" type games). Will be interesting to see how we finish in the conference rankings and who we get in the first round of conference tourney. Play in the conference tourney will be critical for us.

I like Gary Parrish a lot. Have been reading his stuff since way before my SMU days. Also the reason that we are on this and Memphis is still on it is most likely because Gary lives in Memphis and has a radio show there, so he follows the Tigers closely.
