Beat Texas! Don't drag our RPI down the tubes with your pathetic brand of basketball...
Perhaps we should drop them from our schedule next year and add a competitive team like Stephen F. Austin or Louisiana Tech that would bring fans to Moody and not kill our RPI.

Agreed. I realize that they are a "rivalry" game. But we should probably go back to playing Dallas Christian if TCU is going to be this bad and drag down our RPI.

I hate TCU but I believe they've been ravished by injuries this year.
We should offer to play Texas at AAC next year to kickoff the season, like we did with TCU last year. Would get a good crowd there I bet

I want us to schedule texas and Baylor every year. I have no problem keeping TCU, but given that Daniel Meyer is being renovated and it's their year to host, I suspect that the game will be played at a neutral site again.

I know that the OP was being sarcastic because of the things that the froggies say about our football rivalry. They will be much better next year once they get over all the injuries that have hit them this year. They have no one besides Sheppard of any size with 3 or 4 of their big men out for the year. Still think the jury is out on their coach. He hasn't had the players yet to form any kind of opinion on his bench skills. It will be interesting to see how they do in the next few years. I don't expect them to win another game this year.

Agreed- the Big XII is good this year, TCU could easily go 0-fer in conference play

Trent is a good but not great coach. TCU is a harder job than SMU, IMO. Yeah the big 12 is good this year, but it's a football first school in a football first conference. The AAC feels like the watered down old BE that it is, sure we have football, but everyone knows it's a basketball conference.

A little bit sarcastic. But in all seriousness, I would love to see SMU pick up a game against a team like Vanderbilt, Wake, Illinois, Purdue, USC, etc.
Conference schedule will get a lot easier (and RPI will take a hit) with games against Tulane, ECU and Tulsa next year. Tulsa lost twice to this bad TCU team.

Ravish (v.): either (1) seize and carry off by force, or (2) fill with intense delight; enrapture.
Guessing you meant "ravage".
Ravage (v.): cause severe and extensive damage to.

Thank you grammar police. I did mean ravaged. I've been staring at too many speradsheets before lunch today.

Didn't LB say that SMU reached out to UT and/or Baylor for a game this year, but they refused?

Not surprised. Would love to see a Kansas home and home.

This is a pipe dream but we need to begin scheduling Big Ten teams. Several reasons but good for the RPI, all the Big Ten teams have large alumni bases here in Dallas, and this is the conference that makes the most sense for us to join (time zone, academics, and Texas presence).

Haha no offense meant by it. Just thought it was funny.
