They have no depth. We could use the refs that call everything so we could get them in foul trouble early and then run away from them

I hear that Temple does not play well in the snow, so this may be to our advantage.

My commute was pretty miserable this morning, but there's no way I miss the game. My wife might, but she works way further north. Be safe out there.

I actually think Temple is a more dangerous team than we've been giving them credit for. I know they're 1-7 in the AAC and in last place in the conference but if you look at their losses in conference they only have two double digit losses (lost by 11 to Cincinnati and got blown out at Connecticut). They also recently only lost to Cincinnati 80-76.

As some poster previously mentioned they're also the only team in the nation with 4 14+ point scorers. While I agree they can't match our depth, it certainly seems like they have a balanced scoring punch from their starters.

I just hope we're not looking forward to our big Saturday matchup and drop this weekday matchup to one of the conference's worst teams (like we did last week).

I still think we win, mostly due to our newly legitimate homecourt advantage. I don't know if the upper bowl will be full with alumni and fans due to the weather and travel concerns but I feel like students are going to turn out in force. Thursday night pregame city.

Yes, as someone mentioned, they are a lot like us last year. They get almost nothing from their bench. We've got to watch out for Dr. Pepper. That guy is deadly from deep.

Another concern, completely based on statistics, is our offense. Temple is one of the higher scoring teams in our conference but also one of the weaker defenses; basically the opposite of SMU. I have faith our defense can slow them down a bit, but we need to put up some points to win. Very important that our offense flows well tonight.

That said, from actually watching Temple, I agree with others that our relatively greater depth should be a big asset tonight. They do look a lot like us last year in that regard.

Dallas is quickly approaching full freak out mode. I'm sure bread, milk and batteries are flying off the shelves
