UC/Uconn

This is going to be dogfight up in Cinci tonight. Any thoughts as to who would be better to win this game? A UC win gives us a game up on UConn if we get by Temple and sets up a real barnburner for Saturday.

If UCONN wins and we beat Cincy, then we would be right near the top of the conference. BUT, I want Cincy to come into Moody undefeated in the AAC…tough choice

I want us to put space between us and UCONN. Also want Cinci to come in undefeated.

I want us to put space between us and UCONN. Also want Cinci to come in undefeated.
I agree with this thinking. Would be great to win the regular season, but first I want to put some distance between us and 5th place.

I also agree with this.
I also think we have to be realistic about the time of year it is. 3 down in the loss column is hard to overcome this late in the schedule even if UCONN and our guys both beat Cincy. At that point, we'd be 1 game back but Cincy has the same number of tough games left as we do. Being ahead of UCONN will be important for tourney consideration. Win every game and let the conference fall where it may.

I like UCONN much more than Cincinnati, but think we need Cinci to win so that they are not out for revenge against their next opponent. Then again, Houston beath UCONN and we managed to beat them the following game.

Of course I will be cheering loudly for my Huskies tonight, followed by cheering loudly for the Mustangs. Hate the fact that there is about an hour overlap of these games.
